Here are some languages that I’m familiar with.
French
I did French Immersion K-12. And, today, I’m doing my best to speak French to my one-year-old so she picks it up through osmosis. We’ll see how that goes.
Mandarin
I studied it for six years, starting in university. I’m far from fluent, but can proudly crush “童話” start-to-finish at karaoke.
童話 is an iconic, super-emotional ballad that everyone knows—a true karaoke power move.
