Hi there, thanks for reading more about me.
About Me
I work in crypto because I believe we’re witnessing the emergence of systems that will fundamentally reshape society.
Currently, I lead the Eco Foundation, where we’re solving one of crypto’s most fundamental challenges: making stablecoins easier to use on-chain.
Our protocol accelerates how value moves through blockchain networks, removing friction that has historically limited adoption.
My Journey
My path to crypto was built through traditional finance and venture capital.
I started at Capital One in 2011, progressing from business analyst in card partnerships to managing strategy and innovation for their commercial banking division in New York.
After seven years in traditional banking, I moved into venture capital at Vanedge Capital, where I managed investments for their $300M fund focused on analytics and deep tech companies, including successful exits like Quantum Benchmark’s acquisition by Keysight.
A brief stint leading operations strategy at Bench Accounting gave me startup experience before I fully embraced crypto at Gitcoin, where I led their grants program and helped distribute over $50 million to thousands of public goods projects.
This experience showed me crypto’s power to reimagine how we fund collective action and brought me to my current role leading Eco Foundation.
Beyond building technology, I’m passionate about education and making complex concepts accessible. The crypto space can be intimidating, but it doesn’t have to be.
Part of my mission is breaking down barriers and helping others understand why this technology matters for our collective future.
Personal
When I’m not thinking about blockchain infrastructure, you’ll find me celebrating half-birthdays, enjoying raucous Robert Burns Day dinners, or making my annual pilgrimage to The Gorge in Washington State.
I’m a moderate board game enthusiast, speak some French, and can crush “童话” at karaoke despite being far from fluent in Mandarin.
